Fun fact - I once used to be a bit of a jewelry junkie! Yes, once upon a time, I was almost obsessed with statement costume earrings then just like that I woke up one day and was over it. As a result, I had a lot of beautiful jewelry just lying around under utilized. Being the serial DIYer that I am, I decided to refashion some of them.
Come with me as I show you how I transformed two shoes and a purse using some of my old jewelry.
Materials
Glue

Jewelry

Shoes/Bags

Before we get into the steps, here are some general tips to note;
Make sure to match the item to be refashioned with the jewelry to be used. They should be complimentary so that the final product is believable. You can can match using color, textured or print/pattern. You can also color block or print block as long as they look good together.
The surface of one side of the jewelry should be flat so that it sticks to the shoe/bag surface properly.
Your choice of glue should depend on the surface texture of the items to be glued. Super glue may be a bit harsh for fabric surfaces. Uhu, b6000 and hot glue work as well.
You can also attach the jewelry on the side of the shoes or at the back instead of the generic position.
Alright, let’s get into the steps;
Step 1
Prepare the jewelry to be used by taking off the hoops and wiping the flat surface clean.
Step 2
Apply a generous amount of the glue to the flat surface of the jewelry or directly on the area of the bag/shoe where the jewelry is To be placed.

Step 3
Place the jewelry on the spot on the shoe/bag where you want it to be and hold it firmly in place for about 30 seconds.

Step 4
Place the refashioned shoe/bag under the sun to set for about 2 hours.
Final Look
